What to do when NAU door starts misbehaving?
NAU doors are the electric sliding doors used on yachts and cruise ships.
After a sudden loss of power, they can sometimes behave erratically although no faults are present on the HMI and everything seems alright.
If a reset or a homing procedure doesn’t help, do this:
Isolate power to the NAU door and the PLC controlling the NAU.
Open the NAU door manually about 20cm.
Put the power back on.
Press the push button on the door.
The door will close and return to normal operation.
